docconnect is modularly structured and comprises several medical disciplines. The specialties can be expanded at any time, depending on demand and available expertise.

Current and planned specialties include:

Each specialty has its own protected workspace within the cloud platform.

Management of specialties

Each specialty is managed by one or more specialty coordinators. They take over the organizational coordination and ensure that consultation requests are processed in a structured manner.

Professional responsibility lies with the participating consulting physicians; the specialty coordinators ensure the organizational framework.

Consultations follow a clearly defined process that enables both reliability and flexibility.

Submit consultation request

The request is made in a structured manner via a specialty-specific consultation form.

Review and assignment

The responsible specialty coordinator reviews the request and assigns it to the appropriate specialty and suitable consulting physicians.

Coordination and scheduling

If required, a time for a case discussion is coordinated. Alternatively, the professional assessment takes place asynchronously.

Protected professional exchange

Medical information and documents are exchanged exclusively in the protected cloud area.

Professional feedback

The consulting physicians provide their assessment and recommendations in collegial exchange.

Structured consultation forms are available for each specialty.
